Information we collect

  • Contact and identity details you provide, such as name, address, email, phone number, and date of birth.
  • Eligibility information needed to enroll you in Lifeline, such as the qualifying program or household income, and — during secure enrollment — the last four digits of your Social Security number or your Tribal ID.
  • Service information, including device identifiers (IMEI), usage needed to meet Lifeline usage rules, and account records.
  • Website data, such as pages visited and browser type, collected through essential cookies and server logs.

How we use it

  • To verify your Lifeline eligibility and enroll you in the program
  • To provide, bill, and support your service and device
  • To meet legal requirements, including annual recertification and program audits
  • To prevent fraud and duplicate enrollments
  • To respond to your requests

How we share it

We share information only as needed to provide service and comply with law, including with the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC), the National Verifier, the National Lifeline Accountability Database, state Lifeline administrators, the FCC, network and shipping partners, and law enforcement when legally required. We do not sell your personal information.

Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI)

We protect information about your calls and service (CPNI) as required by FCC rules and use it only as permitted by law.

Security and retention

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information and keep it for as long as needed to provide service and as required by FCC Lifeline recordkeeping rules.

Your choices and rights

Depending on your state, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your information, or to opt out of certain uses. Email privacy@freelinkwireless.com to make a request. We'll verify your identity before responding.
